Promos feature
A real deadline
for every buyer
Each person gets their own clock, from their first visit or from your automation. When it runs out, the price really changes.
No credit card required. No coding required.
Early-bird price ends in
$249 $199 while the timer runs
Harriet’s own deadline, the same on every device.
How it works
One clock per person, everywhere they look
The deadline is stored for each person, so the checkout, the page and the email all agree.
- Tier 1
The offer is live
The early price shows on the checkout while their clock runs.
- Their inbox
The countdown follows them
An email countdown showing each reader their own time left.
- Tier 2
Time is up
The next tier takes over: a new price, or a new page.
Set it up
Set the clock, set the tiers
Promos have their own section. Pick evergreen or tripwire, then say what each tier does.
- 1
Create the promo
In Promos, choose New promo, name it, connect your checkout and email tool, and pick Evergreen or Tripwire.
- 2
Set the window and the tiers
Choose how long it lasts. For each tier set the checkout price and where visitors go.
- 3
Enrol people
Enrol them on their first visit to the promo link, or from a sequence with the Enroll in Promo step.
- 4
Show the countdown
Add a Countdown block to the checkout and paste the email timer code into your emails.

An image countdown that shows each reader their own deadline, from your email tool’s merge tag.

Walk the tiers as a participant, then clear your identity and start again.

Questions
Common questions about deadline campaigns
The short answers. The docs have the long ones.
Is this a real deadline or a cookie timer?
Real. Each person’s deadline is stored against them, usually by email, so it holds across devices when your links carry it.
How do people get enrolled?
When they first open your promo link, or from an automation with the Enroll in Promo step, after a purchase or a signup.
What changes when the clock runs out?
The next tier takes over. On a Plandalf checkout that can be a different price, and tiers can send visitors to a different page.
Can I put the countdown in emails?
Yes. Paste the email timer code and add your email tool’s merge tag, and each reader sees their own deadline.
