The setup

Scratchpad sells single-origin coffee on a subscription model with one-time gift orders mixed in. They were running Shopify for the storefront, a third-party app for post-purchase upsells, and a separate retention tool for save flows. Three tools, three logins, three places to make a change.

What they changed

They moved checkout, upsells, and save flows onto Plandalf Offers. The storefront stayed on Shopify; the checkout is a Plandalf-hosted page on their domain. Order bumps appear inline; the save flow is wired into the cancellation surface in their account area.

What they measure

Checkout abandonment dropped from 41% to 27% over the first six weeks — partly faster pages, partly a cleaner mobile layout. The save flow recovers about 18% of cancellation attempts, weighted heavily toward pause-the-subscription rather than discount.

What’s next

They’re testing a launch-window Timer for limited single-origin drops, with the deadline documented in the Timers overview.

Product surfaces

The Plandalf screens behind the customer story

Customer stories should point back to the actual product surfaces: Offers, conversion blocks, invoices, payment options, and purchase automations.

Records after purchase

Invoices, payment state, buyer context, and fulfillment events stay attached to the checkout that created them.

"We were running Shopify, a third-party upsell app, and a separate save-flow tool. Plandalf collapsed all of it into one place that we actually understand."
